A circular jacket with a trapeze cut and deep box pleat in the back. Relaxed sleeves, the circumference of all the panels in the jacket pattern are the same length. The box pleat in the back utilises the reversed side of the brocade. Tailored from a dense silk-cotton brocade weaving technique called ‘Himroo’ from Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Woven using a 550 year old revived ‘Naqsha’ (weaving blueprint). It is finished with hand beaten brass buttons and fringes from the warp yarn on the sleeve.
