Gul e Istanbul blouse

This blouse is made in a handwoven cotton silk Himroo textile, woven with metallic zari. The surface is built using two types of metallic zari, creating depth and contrast within the pattern.

The naqsha used in this textile traces back over 550 years. It is revived and reinterpreted here within a Himroo base, allowing the pattern to hold presence without added weight.

The silhouette is defined by a scoop neckline and structured shoulders. It frames the upper body with clarity while allowing ease of movement.

Lined with silk, the inside is smooth against the skin while the exterior carries the density of the weave.

It is designed to move across settings. Rooted in tradition, but not restricted by it.
